ABOUT THE AUTHOR

RC Le Beau, a Lifetime Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) also was an All-State Commander. He is a Lifetime Member of the 1st Marine Division Association, in Oceanside, California. He also holds four U.S. Patents of both Design and Utility Patents. He worked for Le Beau’s Commercial Art Studio’s in Detroit, Michigan at age 16 and at 17 he helped in the design of the Ford Mustang, he also created the logo of the Johnny Walker man for the Scotch Whiskey Co’s. advertising campaign. Later after the Marine Corps he worked as a Private Detective and worked for GM at the Cadillac plant in Detroit, later he owned two restaurants and then owned two gift shops, he then partnered and opened four Water Bed stores called, Dream Merchants in four local cities around the Detroit area, he then moved to California and started his own company, American Delta Products marketing his patented products after being an District manager for Cleveland Cotton Products.

RC Le Beau at the age 15 and 16 he flew planes for the Civil Air Patrol, helped Ronnie Popeil market the Dial-A-Matic, Chop-o-Matic and the Veg-a-Matic. He joined the Marine Corps and later after the war, graduated from the Ford Marketing Institute, Detroit Institute of Technology, went on to South Macomb Community College for his Business and Marketing education, scoring an A+ average.

In his autobiography, Bob Lebeau narrates the story of his life from the moment his vision became less blurry as he witnessed the demise of his beloved father. After the age of fifteen, when teenagers pass their driving test to get their driver’s license. Bob had passed the exam to be enrolled as a cadet in the Marine Corps.

He was training as a Cub Scout, or what you call a Boy Scout and Civil Air Patrol Cadet. Bob was all set out on his 13-month-long tour in Vietnam earlier than he had expected. As Bob narrates his story, he emphasizes that it is not only his experience he wishes to share among the readers. It is the story of sacrifices that were made; the events that remained told even after so many years after the war. He hopes to make people realize how great the Vietnam War had been for the United States of America.
